    • Use your voice – Share your stories, pictures, videos, and other things with each other. We can help keep the MMIW movement going strong. Speak to your friends and consider using social media as an outlet to remember MMIW and to keep the movement going.

    Welcome Native Spirit is proud to sponsor and support the MMIWG2S Alaska Run for Healing, Run for Justice, an event dedicated to honoring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Relatives. The 5K event is meant to raise awareness and provide a healthy healing activity for our community. #healthyhealing #MMIP

    This event is co-hosted by MMIWG2S Alaska Working Group Partners: Alaska Native Women's Resource Center, Alaska Native Justice Center, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Data for Indigenous Justice, and Native Movement.

    We have also delivered 1,000 MMIW decals to the General Federation of Women’s Clubs and donated 2,000 copies of the book "Justice for MMIW - Unveiled Stories and Our Voices" to the community for free to further promote awareness on this issue.
